Light Source Solutions, LLC (LSS) warrants its new, factory certified LSS branded products and parts against defects in material during the specified warranty period. During this period, Light Source Solutions, LLC will, at its sole option, repair or replace a defective product or part without charge to you. This excludes shipping or installation, field support labor or loss of profit, income or revenue.

Light Source Solutions, LLC warrants all our LSS brand products, including LED modules and power supplies, which you have purchased directly from LSS or from LSS authorized distributors to be free from defects in materials under normal use during the warranty period. The customer will process warranty service with LSS’s distributor if they purchased the said products from them.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS NORMAL USAGE ONLY. Light Source Solutions, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY MISUSE, ABUSE, ACCIDENTS, VIRUSES, UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE OR PARTS, OR THE COMBINATION OF OUR LED BRANDED PRODUCTS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER NON-LSS BRANDED PRODUCTS. THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER PROVIDES ANY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO NON-LSS BRANDED PRODUCTS.

Warranty Policy – LED Modules

All LSS “E”, “V”, and “I” series LED modules are warranted to be free from manufacturing defect for a period of (5) year from the date of their original purchase. This limited warranty is valid only when the LSS brand products and LSS brand Power Supplies or Power Supplies purchased from LSS, are used together. During the warranty period, LSS will repair or replace defective parts with new parts, or, at LSS’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of LSS. This warranty does not apply to any non-LSS products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by LSS products and non-LSS Sign brand products will be covered by their original manufactory’s warranty policy.

Warranty Policy – LED Flex Strips

LSS Flex Strips are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (1) year from the date of their original purchase. This limited warranty is valid only when LSS brand products and brand Power Supplies or Power Supplies purchased from LSS, are used together. During the warranty period, LSS will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at LSS’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of LSS. This warranty does not apply to any non-LSS products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by LSS products and non-LSS brand products will be covered by their original manufactory’s warranty policy.

Warranty Policy – LSS Sign Power Supplies

LSS, brand power supplies are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (3) three years from the date of their original purchase. During the warranty period, LSS will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at LSS’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of LSS. This warranty does not apply to any non-LSS brand products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by LSS products and non-LSS brand products will be covered by their original manufactory’s warranty policy.

Warranty Policy – LSS Controllers & Dimmers

LSS LED controllers and dimmers are warranted to be free from defect for a period of (1) year from the date of their original purchase. This limited warranty is valid only when the LSS controller, LSS dimmer and brand power supplies or purchased from LSS, are used together. During the warranty period, LSS will repair or replace defective parts with new or, at LSS’s option, serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of LSS. This warranty does not apply to any non-LSS products that must be removed or replaced due to alleged damage caused by LSS products and non-LSS Sign brand products will be covered by their original manufactory’s warranty policy.

LSS Policy

Customer shall request Dead on Arrival (DOA) merchandise to be replaced within 5 days from the date of the original invoice. Customer must request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number for the DOA product within 5 days from the date of the corresponding issued invoice. This provision excludes defects that are caused by customer and/or carrier’s mishandling. The following described products are excluded from warranty policy or repair service, and should not be sent back to LSS for repair as they are deemed not repairable:

Not using a voltage regulated power supply to connect LEDs products or controls.
Connecting LEDs to the wrong Output Voltage.
Improper connection of power supplies, LED products or controls
Connection of LED products or controls directly to any A/C power source.
Connecting Power Supplies backwards to an A/C power source
Using products in an extremely hot environment
Example: using a non ventilated box in direct 120° sunlight.
Water damage to non waterproof products.
Electrical power surges.
Note: It is recommended that if there is a possibility of power surges then you should consider a surge protector for the incoming A/C power line.
Damage from Lighting or Electrical Storms.
Acts of God.
Example: hail, flooding, tornado, fire, wind
Products or electronic components that have been modified by the user
Products used for purposes other than intended and directed
Products damaged by connection to LED components not purchased from ELED Sign, LLC
Products found bent, corroded, mildewed, broken, rusted; scratched or similar conditions.
